A question from a long time customer. You told me the possible reason for losing a days worth of data every so often is due to the hdd on the voicemail box filling up. Can you refresh my memory as to what my options are in this regard?

The Panasonic KX-NCV200 is a KX-TVA200 voicemail unit with ACD reporting built in. To make this work the KX-NCV200 needs to collect all the data from the PBX and then send it to the client computers. The hard drive space allowed for this application is limited and will only hold a small amount of data before it gets deleted. This is one of the reasons the client software needs to be open all the time to capture the data from the KX-NCV200. If the client computer is not connected to the KX-NCV200 server all the time data will be lost. Another issue is when the client software thinks it’s connected to the server but no data is being collected. Simply restarting the client software will allow the program to work, but the data will be lost when the client was in a disconnected state.
To resolve this issue the CCserver software was created. This software is installed on a dedicated computer with amply hard drive space to allow years of collected data. With this model the client computers do not need to be connected to the server all the time. Using this model the client computer can run the software when the user needs to run reports. In addition we can now expand the CCview (reporting) software to add CCpro a full ACD package that supports multiple incoming and outgoing campaigns
